Quest Conference 2009

Quest is a national two day conference for Outdoor Artists, Arts Development Officers, Policy Makers and Funders which explores the Outdoor Arts in practice and its impact on people and places. This year held on Thursday 11 & Friday 12 June 2009 at Peel Park, Cliffe Road, Bradford.

I was invited to attend and document the Thursdays talks and speeches with my sketch book and pens. In the afternoon I then drew these sketches up large, filling a piece of heavy duty cartridge paper 5ft x 12ft with my observations of the day.

These sketcbook pages are the initial sketches I made in a 265 x 210mm Winsor & Newton Sketch Book. Drawn direct with pencil and watercolours, they represent three hours of observation and drawing.

Hopefully photos of the finished 'wall' are to follow.
